Closing and Cancellations

When the Lockport District schools are closed due to inclement weather, 4-H meetings on the grounds are also cancelled. When the county offices are closed in Niagara County, our office is automatically closed.

4-H Meetings and Events

Niagara County 4-H Meetings and Events

As we will be experiencing some bad weather during the winter months, it is time to remind members, parents, and volunteers of how we will be making notifications of cancellations and closings. We will make closing announcements on radio stations WBEN/930AM, WLVL/1340AM, and television stations WGRZ/Channel 2, WIVB/Channel 4, and WKBW/Channel 7. I would also suggest that people listen to more than one of these, as we have experienced a problem with no station personnel being available to make these announcements when called after 3:00pm.
