4-H Milk Bar, Daily

                                  

                      Fair would not be complete without a visit to the 4-H Milk Bar for authentic “fair food” during the Niagara County Fair. Joanne McKeever, the Manager, will have the Milk Bar open for business daily. 4-H members, leaders and volunteers are ready to serve the ever popular old fashion root beer floats and real ice cream milkshakes. Cool Hershey’s ice cream and frozen yogurt will be available in cones or dish, and don’t forget those sundaes!

Hamburgs, hot dogs, Italian sausage with peppers and onions, roast beef sandwiches, nachos & cheese, tacos in a bag and potato chips too will be available. A variety of Pepsi products will be available including Gatorade and Aquafina water. The 4-H Milk Bar is the food stand where you see the 4-H youth and adults volunteering together to prepare and serve quality food.

 4-H Pie Kitchen, Daily

Apple, cherry and peach pies will be baked fresh daily by Hall's Apple Farm and sold by the piece or whole pie in the 4-H Training Center.

The aroma of many fair favorite foods by local vendors will greet you in Food Alley. Among those you will find: donuts, fried dough, sugar waffles, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, pizza ,tacos, bloomin' onions, fresh roasted corn, french fries, roasted nuts, cotton candy, taffy, candy apples,kettle corn, cakes and cookies along with Donna Eick's delicious selection from her kitchen.

 

Chicken Barbecue, Thursday, Aug 4th, Noon until sold out

                             

 Bob Hall, Dennis Smith & Matt Costello tend the chickens

1,000 chicken halves will be cooked by experienced chef Dennis Smith of Wilson, Matt Costello of Gasport and Leon and Julie Thompson of Burt along with dozens of volunteers, including the Agriculture and the Family and Consumer Sciences program committees. This meal remains one of the best traditions of the Niagara County Fair.

Meal includes half chilcken, cole slaw, corn on the cob, roll and butter, and beverage.

The price for the dinner is $8.00 per adult and $6.00 per child under 12.

Hall's Apple Farm  Apple, Cherry, or Peach pie may be puchased separately.

 


Fish Fry, Friday, Aug 6th, 4:30-8 PM

Dinner prepared by Jeff Holler, Albion Masons

                $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for children.

 

 Wine Tasting At Niagara County Fair, Daily

                             

The Niagara County Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers will be hosting the Annual Wine Tasting Event. The wine tent will feature wines from Niagara Wine Trail Wineries including Niagara Landing Wine Cellars, Schulze Vineyard and Winery, LynOaken Winery and perhaps others.

A large selection of award winning fruit, red and white wines will be available to taste or purchase. Three tastings will be offered for $1.00 and Welch’s Grape Juice from our own Niagara County Grape Growers will be available for the younger visitors to taste. The Wine Tasting Tent will be located near the Farm Bureau Corn Booth.
