Make A Donation

Make a difference!  Your gift, no matter what size, is important.  Whether it be a corporate sponsorship, foundation donation, annual cash contribution, or a one time gift - all help strengthen our programs.   Would you like your donation to go towards a particular program?    No problem - you are in control.  Please take the time to see what CCE offers this community and make a choice to help us do more!

Natural Resources & Environment

In order to sustain the environmental resources that are necessary for healthy and pleasing communities, human beings must balance activities and needs with their associated impact.  Cornell Cooperative Extension's environment and natural resources programs help individuals and communities make decisions and take actions that preserve and enhance environmental quality and, therefore, human health.

By clicking on "Agriculture" under "Program Areas" and reviewing "Who to Contact," a number of resource people and their subject matter is evident.

A conversation with John Farfaglia on woodlot management and logging will likely lead to a referral to the MFO/COVERTS (Master Forest Owner) volunteer in Niagara County.  Trained by Cornell University, their on-site visits and woods walks with you can be helpful beyond just a phone conversation.  Current active volunteers are:
