				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>                This year’s Royalty consists of Brandon Alt, 17, and Cassie Travers,15.  Brandon is an individual member has been in 4-H for 10 years, as well as 3 years in Cloverbuds.  As he became more involved in 4-H growing up, Brandon says “In all 4-H programs, I learned great leadership skills.”  Currently active in Dairy Cattle, Teen Exchange and Leaders of Tomorrow, Brandon also participated previously in Rabbits, Crafts and Dogs. During this year’s Niagara County Fair, Brandon worked at the Milk Bar and Chicken Barbeque, judged adult exhibits, and helped during the Little Britches Contest. He sold Cow Chip Bingo tickets, 4-H Sponsor’s Popcorn, and pie in the 4-H Pie Kitchen. The son of Gary and Kathleen Alt, Brandon is named to the 2012 Royalty.</p>
<p>                Cassie Travers, a member of the Sanborn Stallions, has been in 4-H for 8 years. Cassie participates in Community Service, Clothing &amp; Textiles, Baking, Teen Exchange, Leaders of Tomorrow and Rabbits.  During the Fair, Cassie could be seen working at the Chicken Barbeque and Milk Bar, setting up for the 4-H Dance, and modeling at the 75 Years of 4-H Fashion Revue.  Cassie says “4-H has given me so many opportunities to volunteer and actually make a difference within the community.”  The daughter of Mark and Patti Travers, Cassie is named to the 2012 Royalty.</p>
<p>Throughout the next year, Royalty will be active in promoting our 4-H program county-wide.  Congratulations.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Ken Gumaer, Chairman of 4-H Animal Science Committee and Jim McNeil, leader of the Master Showmanship contest, announces the following results at the Niagara County Fair:</p>
<p>The participants of each area are the representatives or the grand champion showman of their species:</p>
<p>Beef- Elizabeth Luckman</p>
<p>Dairy- Liz Offhaus</p>
<p>Dairy Goat- Reggie Neadow</p>
<p>Meat Goat- William Ziemendorf</p>
<p>Sheep- Maria Schafer</p>
<p>Swine- Courtney Luckman</p>
<p>All members were presented with a 4-H Grand Champion Showmanship shirt that they wore during the competition.  Rebecca Snyder, Cargill Nutritionist, was this years’ judge and selected Courtney Luckman of Gasport as the winner.  All participants received a master showmanship buckle.  Niagara County has one of the longest running competitions in New York State.</p>
