The 2013 Niagara County Fair is Wednesday July 31, 2013 to Sunday August 4, 2013.
The 2013 Niagara County Fair is coming together to be better than ever. With performances by 7th Heaven, 90 West, and Craig Wilkins to name a few, this year’s fair is stacking up to memorable. There will be magicians, dancers, clowns and daily show by Air Mutts – K9s in Flight. Air Mutts is fast paced and shows off the talents of these high flying K9s. These shelter dogs have gone from “Homeless to High Flying”. The annual Beer Tent will be open Friday and Saturday run by the Wrights Corners Fire Department and new this year is a Fireman’s’ Parade.
During the Farm-City Breakfast of the 2013 Niagara County Fair, we will presenting the winner and the top 9 entries of the 2013 Fair Logo contest with awards. We are happy to announce the winner is Samantha Chilcott of Lockport. All entries including the winner will be on display in the 4-H Training Center during the fair. You can see the winning logo on the CCE-Niagara County web site, www.facebook.com/cceniagaracounty, on this year’s fair program and on fair posters. Thank you to everyone who submitted fair logo entries.
The Niagara County Fair is more than fun rides, talented performers and fair food. The 4-H members of the county have been very busy living by the 4-H motto “Learn By Doing”. They have worked all year to prepare their fair entries in the areas of animal science, plant science, social science, nutritional science, mechanical science and natural sciences. Home environment, consumer economics, leadership development, volunteer development, and much, much more are included as areas of 4-H topics. These young people are working hard to earn Excellent (blue), Good (red) or Worthy (white) ribbons and to earn the honor of representing Niagara County at the NY State Fair.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County is a 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization. Net proceeds from the fair support CCE-Niagara County programming that benefits children and families of Niagara County.
